  • Airlines support U.S. pre-clearance at U.K. airports
    Airlines in the U.K. are supporting U.S. security checks at British airports like Heathrow, and they may be willing to pay for it. TSA already staffs U.S. pre-clearance facilities in Ireland, Canada and several states in the Caribbean. "We support the concept of pre-clearance for U.S.-bound customers, but there are significant hurdles to overcome if it is to be implemented at U.K. airports," British Airways said in a statement.   • United conducting 787 training flights in Seattle
    United Airlines, the first North American recipient of Boeing’s new 787 Dreamliner, is conducting training flights for its pilots in and around Seattle.
