  • Law enforcement operations to change at Charlotte, N.C., airport
    Security operations for law enforcement at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina will undergo a change in December. Two separate law enforcement and public safety operations will be combined and fall under the supervision of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.   • DOT: September had no domestic flight tarmac delays over 3 hours
    The Transportation Department’s Air Travel Consumer Report shows no tarmac delays of more than three hours for domestic flights or four hours for international flights were reported for the month of September.
